Hindi Conversion of 3 Subjects Will Be Done for First Year Hindi Medium Students
Medical Education Minister Shri Vishwas Kailash Sarang Took Important Meeting in Mantralaya

Bhopal, 24 February. Medical Education Minister Shri Vishwas Kailash Sarang said that MBBS will now be taught in Hindi language also. This facility will prove helpful for the students studying in Hindi medium. For this, a meeting of the Hindi Course High Committee constituted in relation to starting courses in Hindi was held in the Mantralaya. In this discussions were held with subject experts.

Work duly started by making an action plan

Minister Shri Sarang informed that according to the intention of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan, work has been duly started by preparing an action plan. For this, it was announced on Hindi Diwas that students would get this facility from this session. He clarified that this arrangement is being made as parallel for help to the students studying in Hindi medium. Along with English, preparations are also being made to provide Hindi books. Shri Sarang informed that a well-organised curriculum is being prepared by duly constituting a Hindi cell. It includes experts from different fields.

Adaptation of books keeping in mind the practical side

Minister Shri Sarang said that it will start from Gandhi Medical College. As an innovation, the books of 3 subjects of the first year are being adapted keeping in mind the practical side. He said that tools and platforms are being provided to the students using Devanagari. He said that the studies in mother tongue can be understood better and more quickly. France, Germany, Japan and China offer education in their own languages.

Faculty will also use auxiliary words of Hindi

Minister Shri Sarang told that the volume of books will be serialized. The course will be started in April-May by making sub-volumes. Proper study of copyright is also being done. Its compliance will be ensured. He said that the faculty of medical college has also been instructed to take classes in Hindi while explaining to the students. Three war rooms are being made for three subjects. A war room for anatomy and bio-chemistry will be set up in Bhopal and physiology in Indore. In this, the verification of the conversion of the subjects will be checked.

Study in Hindi will also be done through audio-video

Minister Sarang said that for the convenience of the students, efforts would also be made to make audio-videos of Hindi lectures available through YouTube channel. He said that Madhya Pradesh would be the first state in the country which started this innovation and Madhya Pradesh would be a leader in implementing it in future also.

Challenging but rewarding job

Minister Shri Sarang said in the meeting that this is a challenging task, which has to be done in a time-bound manner. Madhya Pradesh is working as a leader in this work, it is a matter of pride for us. Dr. Apoorva Puranik, Dr. Manohar Bhandari and Dr. Amitabh Verma gave presentation.

Additional Chief Secretary Shri Mohammad Suleman, Commissioner Medical Education Shri Nishant Warwade, Director Medical Education Shri Jitendra Shukla along with deans of all medical colleges and members of the committee were present.
