Fix accountability of field staff of Revenue Department: Dr. Yadav

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has instructed to fix the accountability of the field staff in resolving the revenue related issues of the public like nomination transfer, distribution of property, ownership rights etc. He instructed the officials to prepare an action plan to resolve revenue issues. The Chief Minister told the officials to make maximum use of information technology in revenue administration. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav was reviewing the work and activities of the Revenue Department in a meeting in Mantralaya today.

The topics discussed in the review meeting included cyber tehsil system, use of Sampada portal, use of modern technology in the revenue department and on-site quick solution of revenue issues. Principal Secretary Revenue also informed about the innovations made in the department and Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s words of praise for the revenue reforms in Madhya Pradesh.

Major instructions of the Chief Minister

* Ensure transparency in execution of work.

* Make maximum use of IT in land administration activities.

* Provide solution to the problems of citizens by organizing camps.

* Resolve issues on the spot.

* Patwaris should halt for the night at their Gram Panchayat headquarters.

* Fix accountability of revenue employees.

* Remove the shortcomings evident at the departmental level.

* Negligence should be strictly dealt with so that citizens do not have face any hardship.

* Review pending work continuously.

* Solve problems by organizing campaigns.

* Solve revenue problems of citizens by taking assistance of the Police force, wherever necessary.
